Microsoft updates Bing Search app for Android with Bing Snapshots feature

Microsoft has released a new update to its Bing Search app for Android in the Google Play Store. The latest release brings support for new Bing Snapshots feature to the Bing Android app. The feature is quite similar to Google Now on Tap, and allows the app to basically run outside the Bing app.

The update Bing app now works with other apps as well displaying snapshots of information and actions related to the things on the app. When you long-press the home button while using one of your favorite apps, it will show you snapshots of related information. Now, you don’t have to leave the app and launch Bing to search for useful information, it will do it everything without you leaving the app you’re running.
