Microsoft is rolling out a new update to Insiders running Windows 10 Mobile Preview Build. The small update is dubbed as “Developer Enhancements” which appears to brings some improvements on the backend for app developers, as Windows Dev Center is now open for developers to submit their apps to the Universal Windows Platform.
If you’re running Windows 10 Mobile Preview on your device, (especially if you’re a dev) then head to Settings > Update and Security > Phone Update to get this update. This update isn’t able to most users – to be able to get this update, you’ll need to enable Developer Mode which is accessible by heading over to Settings>Update>For Developers.
Note, to get this OTA update your phone’s battery will need to be at least 40%. After the update downloads, you will need to restart your device. Everything for this update is under-the-hood, and you won’t see any new features or UI enhancements. In case if you notice anything new, be sure to let us know in the comments below.
