Fotogram for Symbian : Add special effects to your photos and share them on Facebook and Twitter

‘Fotogram’ is another cool Instagram (iOS) like app, or we can say a Share Online plug-in by  Furtiv. Fotogram adds different vintage special effects to photos and allows you to share it with your friends on Facebook / Twitter directly from Camera or Photo Gallery.

We have already reviewed Instagram (iOS) like app Molome, that allows you to first take a picture, add some cool effects and share it with your friends on Facebook or Twitter. Now Fotogram is a bit different , Its kind of  Furtiv plug-in to Share Online – It applies a number of retro special effects to your photos directly from the  gallery or from camera and share them on Facebook/ Twitter. It makes your photos look like they were taken with an old camera from the 60′s, 70′s or 80′s. The results are really impressive and it makes even very ordinary photos look much more interesting and worth sharing . Check out some examples of the retro special effects in Fotogram next to the original pictures.

“1973″ special effect

“Rusty” special effect

“Groovy” special effect

“1985″ special effect

“Woodstock” special effect

The only negative point is – You have to select each of these effect as default on Share Online before uploading  through gallery or camera and you are also not able to view the applied effect before uploading. There are two types of plug-in’s for each Twitter and Facebook upload- Free & Paid – The FREE version uploads photos to 7DayPic.com ( a photo sharing website, which host your photo free for 7 days only) and posts a link in Facebook and Twitter.  The PAID version  uploads photos directly to Facebook and Twitter (Twitpic).

The plug-in is now available for S60v5 devices over Ovi Store.
