Microsoft Band updated with TaylorMade’s myRoundPro integration for golf tracking

Microsoft and golf club company TaylorMade have partnered up to bring integrated golf experiences to its Band fitness wearable. On Thursday, Microsoft announced an expansion of that partnership, adding support for TaylorMade’s myRoundPro to the Microsoft Band.

The myRoundPro integration with Microsoft Band  includes integration with the Microsoft Health web dashboard as well. This system will provide detailed statistical analysis of your game that would include classic golf statistics, such as fairways hit and greens in regulation, proximity to the hole, strokes gained and much more; all developed to help you adapt and improve your game.

Now, when myRoundPro users sign-in to the Microsoft Health web dashboard they will see additional information derived from myRoundPro, including:

  • Mapped shot locations
  • Fairways hit
  • Greens in regulation
  • Putts per round
  • Sand saves
  • Scoring average
  • Shot proximity to hole
  • Strokes gained

Microsoft Band is designed to keep track of your steps, heart rate and calorie burn, making golf a part of your fitness routine. And, via the ‘Find a Workout’ section in your Microsoft Health app, we offer five golf workouts, including: 5-Minute Golf Warmup, Gold’s Gym Golf Workout, Beginner Golf Workout, Intermediate Golf Workout, and Advanced Golf Workout.
