Nokia Asha 200 / Asha 201 firmware updated to v11.95

Quick heads-up, Nokia Asha 200 & Asha 201 firmware updated to version 11.95. The latest firmware brings software stability improvements to the devices, Check out the full changelog after break.

To get this software through your device, select Menu -> Settings -> Device -> Device updates and follow the on-screen prompts. Alternatively this software release is also available through Nokia Suite. We recommend you to backup all your personal data before updating the firmware.

We have started rolling out a new SW update for Asha 200 (RM-761) and Asha 201 (RM-799 & RM-800):  v. 11.95. This update is globally targeted (excluding China) and should be already available via Nokia Suite for many countries/regions. FOTA update packages should also follow soon.

Key changes compared to previous 11.81/11.87/11.90 SW versions:

  • Phone software stability improvements for phone calls, messaging, media player and camera.

Note: The availability of software updates are region specific, if you don’t have it already it should be available soon.

    I have installed this software in my phone on Jan 19 2013. But i did not see any improvements for messages and media payer. Simply wasted time on updating the software….I was expecting updates on deleting multiple messages and graphic equalizer for media player…upset with the SW release…
