The Verge reports that Verizon is going to receive a high-end variant of the Lumia 920, codenamed “Nokia Laser”, coming later this year.
Sources familiar with the Verizon’s plans have informed The Verge that the US carrier will offer a flagship device that has similar specifications to Nokia’s current Lumia 920 smartphone. The handset will be released later this year alongside a device codenamed Nokia Catwalk. The new flagship device is expected to introduce aluminum as its main build material. Sources also revealed that Microsoft is planning to back Verizon’s Nokia Laser device very heavily.
